Krista Valenzuela, Bureau Chief and CTOP

Krista Valenzuela is the bureau chief of Cyber Threat Outreach & Partnerships (CTOP) at the NJCCIC, which is responsible for spreading awareness of current cyber threats, tactics, and techniques; promoting cybersecurity best practices; and establishing relationships with critical infrastructure, businesses, organizations, and individuals around the State and beyond. Mrs. Valenzuela has worked at the NJCCIC for over seven years and previously worked at the US Department of Defense on their information assurance mission.

Oren Koren, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer

Oren Koren is the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Veriti. Oren brings 19 years of experience in cybersecurity, advanced threat analysis, and product management. Prior to Veriti, Oren led AI-based innovations and advanced data analytics projects redefining threat hunting and SIEM applications.

Oren served 14 years at the prestigious 8200 unit and led different cybersecurity activities and technological research projects. Oren won the Israeli Security Award and 3 MOD awards for cutting-edge innovations in cyber security.

Jeff Schwartz, Vice President, Americas Engineering, Office of the CTO

Jeff Schwartz is the VP of Engineering, Americas, for global cyber security company, Check Point Software. He manages a team of 300~ engineers across multi-disciplinary fields, and he’s responsible for all security engineering resources across a $1 billion portion of the business in North America.  Over his 20-year career in cyber security, Jeff has consulted, designed, and overseen the implementation of the largest network security deployments across all industries, and throughout both the Fortune 500 and major government agencies.

Nicholas O'Hara, Security Engineering Manager, Email Security

Nicholas O’Hara is a Security Engineering Manager for Harmony Email & Collaboration. He and his team are responsible for evangelizing the benefits of the Next Generation of Email Security & HEC. Prior to Checkpoint, Nick worked in Managed Services and conducted countless customer implementations across the technology stack – from Collaboration Apps to CRM Integrations to Email Infrastructure architecture.
